    北京市規劃展覽館主要介紹了北京這座不朽之城的悠久歷史，宣傳當代城市規劃建設的偉大成就，展示未來(lái)北京城市發(fā)展的燦爛明天。展館共四層，建筑面積16000平方米，展示面積8000平方米。

    The Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall is designed to introduce the long history of the immortal city of Beijing, display the great achievements of the modern urban planning and development, and exhibit the splendid future of Beijing's urban development. The 16,000 square-meter floor space is distributed on 4 floor levels in the Hall, with 8,000 square meters for exhibits. 

　　北京市規劃展覽館主要展示北京這座偉大都城的過(guò)去、現在和未來(lái)。成為海內外專(zhuān)家、學(xué)者開(kāi)展學(xué)術(shù)交流的舞臺。成為展現新北京風(fēng)貌的愛(ài)國主義教育基地，成為對未成年人進(jìn)行思想道德教育的基地，激發(fā)人民群眾了解北京，熱愛(ài)北京，共同參與北京建設的熱情。
 
　　The Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall primarily features the past, present and future of the great ancient city of Beijing. It also serves as a platform for both domestic and overseas scholars to exchange academic ideas, as an education base of patriotism and morality for youngsters, and as a place to stimulate public passion for understanding and loving Beijing more and participating in the development of Beijing.
